Students, Parents and Carers and NCS staff members are invited to participate in one of the following ANZAC Day ceremonies Nowra Christian School will be attending on Thursday 25 April:
Greenwell Point Dawn Service - meeting at Greenwell Point Memorial Hall at 5:10am and marching to ANZAC Park for a service commencing at 5:30am.
Nowra March – meeting at 10:10am in Junction Street (between Berry and Osborne Streets) and marching to Memorial Gates at Nowra Showground for a one hour service commencing at 10:30am.
Students will be required to wear full school uniform at these events. In previous years, it has been particularly hot at the Nowra march, so it is recommended that students also bring a hat and water bottle.
Student Leaders
We are requesting that
student leaders participate in at least one ANZAC Day ceremony that the school will be attending in the local area. As ANZAC Day falls during the school holidays this year, we understand that this may not be possible for all students.
